The second part of "Video 8 Poetry" cycle, “The Details of The Great Work” is inspired by the processes of the transformation of industrial heritage in Ukraine and the changes of Ukrainian society. By using Artificial Intelligence voice from the future, and recording the scenes from an old Soviet laboratory from the past, the video tells the sequential transformation of both, personal and social, according to the stages in the alchemy process.
It is a poetic reflection on a vision of the future which is determined by a digital form of communication. The project is questioning how Artificial Intelligence would perceive human history and what’s the image of people’s life the AI will have.
The project is presented in a mixed format of analog video, sound (IBM synthesized voice named Lisa) poetry, and social research
